Welcome! Thanks for taking the opportunity to read about my students and the work I do. I am a first grade teacher in South Seattle, teaching at a high risk school; more than 90% of students receive free or reduce lunch, live in a single parent home, at risk for truancies due to tardies or absenteeism, and much more. Despite all of these factors, my students come to school ready to learn everyday. With that, the students I work with are in need of a lot of school materials and resources that will create high quality learning opportunities for their diverse backgrounds. For most of my students, English is not their first language or have acquired low language development. Knowing this about my students, I want to be able to create and provide each of them with the best learning opportunities available to ensure their success!
