Please help us create an amazing sensory room for our scholars that will provide a therapeutic space to calm and focus themselves through a variety of activities. The sensory room will be a calm, quiet space filled with items such as bubble tube lamps, interactive touch walls, items to promote kinesthetic movement, and light curtains. Our dream is that this room will serve the entire population of Academy Elementary, but will especially help those who have sensory processing needs. We know that by adding this therapeutic room to our campus, we will continue to have resources that promote the social, emotional, and academic needs of our scholars.
