The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of literacy. Books on CD help build reading, comprehension and book handling skills. Kindergarten children love to listen to stories and this Califone listening center will enrich the experience for all of my students. Listening to a story on CD helps students hear how the words on the page come alive expressively and uninterrupted. Students gain a better understanding of sounds, letters and words. Books on CD model fluency which is an important skill to master for students of all ages. Thank you for considering a financial donation to help support literacy through technology in my classroom.
