Hello! My name is Mrs. Cathey and I teach ELA and Social Studies to 4th graders. My students are the most motivated, hard working, kind and all around inspiring group of young people I have ever had the honor to work with. I am grateful to be their teacher and hope to do everything I can to positively impact their lives inside and outside of school. They motivate me daily to be the best person and teacher I can be. My school provides a diverse environment for all students and pushes each student to reach their full potential. My goal for all my students is to help them become confident in all aspects of their lives, teach them how to take control of their learning and become life-long readers. Any opportunity I have to give to them is one I will embrace with open arms. It's an honor and inspiration to be their teacher and I hope to give them back a tenth of what they give me.
