Students will have the opportunity to read with enough space because of the horseshoe tables for them to feel comfortable and that will allow them to reach Reading Standards and fluency in their reading. I want my students to feel comfortable reading aloud but since they are in 4th and 5th grade that is not what typical students do. I want students to listen to themselves read for better comprehension without feeling like the center of attention and the fluency phones will help with that. We really hit on RL.4.10 and RL.5.10 so students can focus more on comprehension standards as the year goes on. The bouncy bands will help students focus more since I only have them for 45 minutes these will help them stay on task because most of them are very active.
