I teach first grade in a small, rural, community. I am passionate about my career and early childhood education. I take it as a personal challenge to make a difference for each and every child who enters my classroom. I fully believe in educating the whole child and work to implement developmentally appropriate learning in the classroom. Learning through our senses is so important, so I am always looking to add materials to our classroom that go beyond a textbook.
