My students will utilize the Osmo technology daily during small-group math and science workstations. These stations are designed for cooperative, small groups and are used to reinforce previously taught skills while using exploration and problem-solving skills to help build new knowledge. By purchasing this material, my students will work together to complete skill-based tasks on the IPad. With the Osmo Starter Kit and the Osmo Numbers Set, students will be engaged in games which will motivate all students to work together to solve problems and practice needed skills. The apps that are needed to practice the skills are completely free and downloadable from the Osmo app store, so I will not have to spend extra money buying apps, and my students won't have to continuously close out ads from free apps!
