Children will have a great time this year in AIS Math learning math in fun and exciting ways using a variety of manipulatives. We use computers, manipulatives and tablets to learn, review and practice math skills. We meet in small groups to learn just what you need. We use manipulatives and play math games often as a way of practicing these skills. Solving word problems is an important part of math. We will solve and create word problems using tape diagrams or bar models, pictures, and charts. They check out the Math Playground website to practice using the tape diagrams to solve problems.
