Currently, I have to rearrange my classroom tables to utilize my smart board during class. I do not have room for a big rug. The carpet rounds will not only provide my students a personal and comfortable place to sit near the smart board, but it will allow them to sit in-between the tables without having to move them every time we are using the smart board. Wireless headphones and a keyboard will enable me to utilize the smart board as a center. During center time, I have students engaged in eight centers simultaneously. Wireless headphones will help my students stay focused in all the centers because they won't be able to hear the smart board at the other centers. The computer that runs the smart board is hooked up across the classroom. So the keyboard will make it easier for me during lessons and easier for students to develop independence with the smart board.
