By having this carpet to sit on, my students will be able to find a square and stay in their own square while focusing on the lesson that is being taught. The rainbow carpet with squares will provide easy assigned seating and decreased clustering as my students transition from their desks onto their assigned, color coded carpet square. Then as I have them stand to go back to their seats, the transition will once again, be less cluttered and safer as they walk quietly back to their seats. Having the carpet also gives the students a more comfortable spot as they listen.
