The materials, the Aquaponic, is going to be combined with live plants and a fish in order to bring science to life for my students. The Aquaponic that I have asked for would bring a new understanding to ecosystems and habitats. These materials offer a live in home experience that most of these children could not/would not experience in any other way. They provide hands-on learning and an opportunity for collaboration and discussion whether virtually or live in the classroom. It would allow the learning to continue throughout more than just a few lessons by providing opportunities to revisit concepts over and over.
