My students need movement through learning to be able to sustain their attention throughout the long day of learning. Not every child learns in the same manner. There are plenty of students that need movement in order to continue being engaged in their education. Being able to wobble or rock in a chair comes naturally to some students that are on the move. In order to continue with a safe learning environment which engages all learners, I need the tools to help students be successful. Tools such as a wobble chair, cushioned rocking chairs, and student rocking chairs for the desks will help to encourage movement throughout their school day.
