I am requesting books that will help my students learn how to express and regulate what they are feeling. Social emotional learning is so important, as this new school year begins. Students have been at home, unsure of what was happening, since March! As we come back together as a class family, I want to make sure that I equip them with all the SEL support they need! The books that I am asking for will help me explicitly teach my students how to handle their emotions, and that all emotions are ok to feel! I want to guide them to ways that they can express how they feel and show them how to make sure that their emotions don't overpower them.
