My kindergarteners, first graders, and English language learners are enthusiastically exploring letters, letter sounds, and beginning to make words! Our friends are beginning to put words together and sound out words. They've mastered initial sound fluency, and are beginning to sound out CVC words. To continue to make reading exciting and engaging, we need a variety of texts at students' emerging reading levels. To supplement our books, we need letter tiles and magnets for our Word Work time. Your generous donation makes a difference for my students' lives because it provides them with accessible and fun tools to practice reading skills.
