Imagine having to sit still in a cold, boring classroom for 8 hours a day, expected to learn. I am determined to give my students a comfortable and cozy classroom with seating and movement options that allow them to do their best thinking. When my students have flexibility, something so simple as a balance ball, a comfortable carpet, or a lap tray makes a world of difference. It allows for focus, inspiration, and perseverance. Students who thrive on movement can finally concentrate. I love to incorporate colorful decor and encourage creative thinking in my classroom. When students feel comfortable and relaxed in my classroom it also makes them feel welcomed and capable. This energy will support their mental, physical, and emotional needs!
