These iPads will be used to strengthen my students' literacy skills and acquisition of English. Since many of my students are learning English and there are 9 different home languages spoken in my classroom, it can be challenging for me to meet the needs of all of my students. With these iPads my students will be able to use their variety of home languages to support their acquisition of English. Additionally, they will be used for math, science, and social studies activities. My students need these iPads to support their inquisitive minds and learning in ways that I cannot do alone! Most of my students do not have technology accessible at home. They need every day access to technology in order to become successful citizens of the 21st century. With these iPads, their learning and opportunities can become unlimited!
