I am requesting a Surface Pro and accessories. With aging technology in my class including a first generation iPad and a document camera no longer supported on Windows 10, I need a way to present and digitally save lessons. With a Surface Pro I can teach remotely from any location in the room, take a picture and project student work on the board for us to analyze and discuss, or record notes and examples for absent students. Unlike using a Smartboard or whiteboard where I am forced to have my back to the class as I demonstrate a particular type of problem, I can easily see all students while I am teaching with the Surface Pro. This will help increase student engagement!
