Ninety percent of our students are first-generation college bound. Eighty percent of students are economically disadvantaged, many of which were severely effected by Hurricane Harvey. Ninety-five percent are Hispanic or African American. These may seem like dismal statistics. BUT ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of our graduating seniors are accepted into four-year colleges. We are transforming the face of Houston education, one child at a time, and we are proving that any child can learn. Most students enter physical education with little to no fitness experience. 90 percent of students are behind in their growth and moter development. With limited equipment students still manage to improve on this aspects through creativity and pure determination.
