I am redesigning my classroom to make it more natural and inviting. The Farmhouse Table & Chair set, the Ficus Tree, and the bookshelf will provide an enjoyable, inspiring place to sit down to write and read. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach, I am including many things to excite and encourage exploration. With the Kapla blocks and light table, students will use shapes and spatial reasoning to model objects and construct complex shapes. With the clay they will create three-dimensional forms. The magnifying glasses will allow for making observations and comparisons. The loom will provide opportunities for applying their artistic skills to create patterns with lines and colors.
