My students need hands-on labs to aid them in grasping difficult concepts such as ChromoSock Meiosis Kit, Biomolecules, Cell Division, and Genetics. We also need eight cylinder sets, eight beaker sets and 40 pair of Safety Goggles. My students are in dire need of hands-on labs in order to increase their understanding of difficult topics such as Genetics, Biomolecules, and Cell Division. Biology is a required STAAR tested course in the state of Texas and utilizing these engaging materials will increase our success rates. Our school is celebrating it's 40th year, and truly is a wonderful campus with an outstanding staff and student body. However, our Science department suffers terribly from years of neglect. Our students are incredibly gifted and would greatly benefit from using these items and many more. The science department's annual budget is grossly insufficient and will not supply our needs. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
