Technology is an educational tool that we need to embrace in order to move forward with the next generation of students. Having a classroom set of tablets will open countless doors of learning opportunities for my students. Seriously, I could go on and on with possible enhancements to the classroom experience, but here are a few highlights that I plan immediately incorporate: - NO MORE PAPER! We will be able to virtually eliminate the excess of paper waste we currently have for formative assessments, essay drafts, annotating texts, etc. - UNLIMITED BOOK CHOICES! Students will have unlimited access to our community library & their ebook choices, allowing more choice in their independent reading selections. - GOOGLE CLASSROOM! All in-class assessments will be online (using Google Classroom), which will allow deeper analyzation of student data and faster, more effective feedback to students' needs.
