While our school benefits from a beautiful design, the rooms were not built to keep out the heat. Over the past two years, we have had numerous days where the temperature was over 80 degrees, and that was with lights out, blinds drawn, and fans on. It's impossible for our kids to do their best learning in this environment. Our students deserve a comfortable classroom environment that will allow them to focus on their learning. This portable air conditioner will be used to cool off the room, especially now that we are starting in mid-August, and make it a comfortable place for students to spend the majority of their day. with a cooler environment, instead of being distracted by the heat, students are free to put all their attention on their students.
