Young children have a hard time keeping focused when they have to stay in their seats or sit still. Learning should be fun and exciting and that includes where you sit and what you do. If you are uncomfortable, it truly affects how much information you obtain. My students need options for seating while learning so they can continue to be successful in their daily progression. Sitting in one place and doing one thing all day is not useful for anyone but especially young students. My students learn through technology, hands-on activities, and visual stimulation all while sitting at tables. They like their privacy during testing and while exploring the computer programs but can't always get that with their current arrangement. They also love to move, move, MOVE! Help me help my students continue learning anywhere, anyhow!
