My students are citizens of the 21st century and are eager to make learning connections through the use of technology. The availability of technology in my classroom would help my students gain safe access to the internet and develop key skills in every subject. With this technology, my students can receive instruction at their "just right" level and develop practices for digital citizenship. The addition of Kindle Fire Tablets to our classroom will allow students to take charge of their learning in all areas of education. Our classroom does not have enough technology for each student to utilize. This grant will propel us closer to reaching our students' individual needs.
