Hello and thank you for taking the time to read about my students and their needs. I'm a first year teacher in rural North Carolina teaching Third Grade, EC Inclusion. I have 19 wonderful, motivated, silly, engaged learners in my classroom. I had my first project funded through Donors Choose and I was floored by the generosity of strangers! All of my projects are focused on inspiring my students to do their personal best every day and to work towards a growth mindset. Our school is Title 1, in a high poverty area, and supplies are hard to come by. I purchase what I can, but sometimes it is not enough. My students deserve the same quality of education as those who come from a different socioeconomic situation. No exceptions.
