Our school corporation is working toward becoming a STEM school corporation! I started by teaching several STEM lesson last year. I also taught at Camp Invention this summer to gain more experience teaching students and giving them the freedom to use their creativity. I also attended a training on teaching students how to use coding. I would like to encourage my first grade class to move forward in the area of STEM. I would like them to design, build, and explore with a variety of materials. I would like them to see the value in thinking outside of the box and also start to realize what they could do with this in the future!

About my class
