Hello. I have been teaching art for over 20 years and at 7 different school sites. I love teaching Middle school students. They are full of energy, curiosity, and have a willingness to learn. Middle School years are often difficult for students as they are experiencing many changes. I strive to make those years more positive and fun by teaching ART classes. Everyone can succeed as an artist and art can also boost self esteem and pride. We are all creative in our own ways, we just have to tap into that creative energy and Make Something! There is a lot of value in participating in creating something. Students learn design and critical thinking skills as well as hands on skills.
