The carpet that was provided to my classroom was 10 plus years old, with that many years of stains as well. In addition, it was not large enough to gather all the children comfortably, which means our read alouds and class meetings were not as successful as they could be. We use our carpet as cozy place to gather to discuss important topics in our classroom. It also serves as a place to hear fascinating stories and go on adventures all together! Our students also love to have a comfortable spot for reading on their own during independent reading time.

About my class
