My goal is to help students feel as comfortable as possible in my room so that they can focus on their work better. More focus will hopefully produce better work being completed. I teach first grade in a small Title 1 school in rural East Texas. We have an amazing group of students at our school, and our students are very hard workers! They really take pride in all that they do in the classroom. My students LOVE learning new things! I try to create a classroom environment that is welcoming and engaging to all of my students. I want my students to feel as though everyone is welcome and everyone is valued in our classroom. Each year I have approximately 20 students that I get the pleasure of teaching each year! I absolutely love my job and consider it a privilege that I get to do it each day.
