I am requesting six Kore WOBBLE Chairs, six lap trays and two Gaiam Balance Balls. These flexible seating items will allow my students to have a daily choice of the best place in the classroom for them to do their best learning. Each student learns differently and they do not necessarily perform their best in a desk and chair. Some students need the opportunity to move around. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. As a classroom teacher, I work hard to raise money to support my classroom and provide the best education environment possible for my first graders, but sometimes other assistance is needed. The new layout of my classroom will help all the little learners feel comfortable and less intimidated as they work towards their goals throughout the year.
