My students need Chromebooks to help them grow in this 21st century. With our county's collection of research databases, online tools, and more, I want to ensure that my 1st graders have equal access and are prepared for technology use in the future! With these Chromebooks, students will be accessing databases to read and write about in reading, utilizing tools such as Wixie to create projects, building their digital portfolios, and more! Due to lack of technology and large class sizes, it is difficult for students to have access to computers and technology. To streamline the students' learning I want to provide them with consistent and up to date technology where all students can learn and access material at the same. These Chromebooks will prepare my students for our ever changing world of technology, and allow them to start building these skills early on. It is essential that these students become avid computers users to become successful in the future, and I know these Chromebooks will kick their journey off the right way! Thank you!
