My students need resources to help them become stronger readers. A set of 24 subscriptions to Storyworks Jr. will fulfill that need. If I am able to get a Scholastic StoryWorks Jr. subscription for my class, we will have access to a variety of texts in one place that we do not currently have. StoryWorks Jr. provides multiples types of texts, such as literature, nonfiction, drama, or poetry. The stories are leveled so my lower level students and ELL (English Language Learners) can be as successful as my students that are on or above grade level. We would have so many new and interesting types of texts to dive deeply into. In addition to these new types of text, we would also have access to grammar work, vocabulary, and many other resources to improve as readers, writers, and students in general.
