My students need a dry erase easel that will allow for examples during small group instruction. The dry erase easel will be used to provide students with examples during guided reading and guided math groups. At this time, there is not a dry erase easel in the classroom. During small group/guided instruction we have no way of recording answers or showing examples unless I leave the group to write on the large whiteboard in the room. Having this easel would allow me to stay with my groups and keep them better focused. This easel will provide my students with the opportunity to practice what they have learned. The dry erase easel will also be used during carpet time and will students to view anchor charts. Students will be able to use the easel for center work, allowing them to practicing writing sentences and build new words.
