I have a great group of 6th graders who have so much potential! In this year of transition to middle school, we teach students to be more independent and to take responsibility for their actions and learning. I try to focus on life lessons in the midst of teaching my language arts standards. More and more, students are dealing with many issues outside the classroom that are out of their control. I want my classroom to be a place where they feel loved, encouraged, and challenged to be the best they can be. I love teaching these middle schoolers!
