Having these supplies will help me plan lessons that will allow all my students to have the opportunity to participate and benefit from my lessons. They will be able to keep a scientific notebook that they can use all year long to actively participate in effective scientific learning. These materials will allow them to become organized which is an important trait of a scientist. These material will allow them reflect on their learning in different ways such as displays for gallery walks, creating posters/brochures, building models to name a few. Highlighter will be used to highlight important scientific information found. Chart paper will be used to compare and display information from different groups which foster collaborative learning. Donating to this project will allow all my students an equal opportunity to participate in scientific lessons. It will provide my students with a variety of basic supplies to help support the many strategies I use to help them to become better science students. These are only a few examples of how these supplies will help support learning in my classroom.
