Small group instruction is crucial in ensuring that each student is getting what he or she needs to be successful. In small groups, I am able to differentiate my instruction to tailor to the needs of each student. I can give extra support and assistance to lower students, and challenge the students who are already achieving above grade level. Technology is everywhere, and there are countless resources available to help kids reach their full potential in their learning of math concepts and skills - if we only have the means to access them. By having those resources available at our fingertips during small group math instruction by means of a tablet and protective case, my students' learning will only increase. I plan to use applications, videos, and programs on the tablet that will enhance my students' learning at all levels.
