The one things students shouldn't have to worry about is having a comfortable learning space. Currently, my students are using mismatched tables, desks, chairs and stools in my classroom. A lot of this furniture is broken and worn down. Additionally, the long rectangular tables in my classroom are too big, which makes it difficult for my students and myself to move around the classroom. Some would even call it an obstacle course! With this new furniture, my students will not have to worry about sitting at a broken table; instead, they will be able to focus on what matters - their learning. Teaching both math and science involves a lot of collaborative learning experiences in my classroom. With circular tables, the students in my classroom will be able to have more collaborative learning opportunities. These tables will also help form math focus groups and science lab groups! With your help, we could make a more comfortable and positive learning environment for my students!
