My students are an amazing bunch of active, curious, and eager to learn kindergarten students. Our classroom is an inclusion class which means that special education students spend their day in the regular education classroom. We currently have 21 students. Two of the students are students with disabilities. They too are just as eager to learn. Four of the students are Native Americans and the remainder of the students are Caucasian. We are in a rural community in south Louisiana with 49% of our students receiving free or reduced lunches. Our kindergarten team works together in educating all 87 kindergarten students.
