Some of my students won't have access to the public library and reading is a vital part of a students' academic success. Third grade is the year when children start to become confident in their reading skills and they begin reading for fun and reading to acquire information they want to know. I feel it is extremely important for my students to have access to a variety of books to explore and open their minds to the world around them. I want them to believe that books are magical and they can take the imagination anywhere! Thank you so much for your consideration.
