Key to successful students involve showing my scholars through the means of keeping an organized and well maintained classroom. I am hoping to use materials such as the listening stations, the I Pad docking stations, bins, and others listed to help my students in a more well organized fashion. I believe my role is to model an educational environment that utilizes skills that my students will be able to take into their everyday lives. Skills in which may appear as simple as putting supplies where they belong is actually a concept that will help these students to learn respect, unity, sharing, and a feeling of it being "their classroom" and not just a place of attendance. My goal is to help my students work together as one family through pride in ownership of their own classroom. In order to teach these skills, I will be needing everyday class materials like organizers for stations, and other center supplies to help with The Cafe and The Daily Five.
