For the past two years, we have been very limited in where we could go and what we could do. The books I have chosen will bring the world around us into the classroom. We will be able to learn about mythology, poetry, the plants and trees that grow all around us, and how to grow some of them ourselves. My hope is that the students will take inspiration from what we learn to write and create our own poems and stories and make beautiful watercolor paintings to go along with them. By engaging the student's heart, mind, and imagination I hope to further develop their love of learning and teach them things that will stay with them through their lives.

About my class
