Having these supplies and materials will allow my students to participate in and explore STEM educational activities at their own learning pace. Students with Autism are amazingly bright and able to solve abstract problems in many ways. I want my students to have the opportunity to become more active participants in the STEM learning that takes place at my school. These donations will allow my students to have a maker space with materials appropriate for their learning challenges. My students will be able to build three demential structures, make open and close circuits using the snap circuit, and using the K'nex blocks allows the student to build and re-build with endless possibilities. This will create an opportunity for academic stimulation as well as allowing the students to bring their unique talents to the design challenges, problem based challenges, and real world solution challenges build into our curriculum.
