My name is Casey and this is my first year back to teaching after a 5 year leave! I am needing a few classroom items, but I also hoping to fully implement flexible seating. My students will have the option of not sitting in a chair at a desk, and this will give us the resources to do just that! I want my students to feel at home in our classroom, afterall, we end up spending a whole lot of time together over the course of one school year! A few of the things I have requested are seating options for the students. The file folders with top brass will be used to display student work in our classroom. They will also be bound at the end of the school year for the students to have a memory book from the year. I have requested a large timer so the students will know how much time they have and can begin learning to monitor their time on task. I have also requested white boards and clipboards so the students can work from anywhere in the classroom. We appreciate any contribution we make, and I know my students will love this flexibility in the classroom!
