Everyone knows that we do our best work when we are comfortable. Kids are no different. My students need a variety of seating options so that they can be comfortable. Students will have the choice in the kind of seat they use each day. If something is not working for them, they simply exchange it for something that does. When students have a choice, they can decide what works best. I want them to be life-long learners and that means they have to begin to learn about what works for them. Having different options available will let them make the decision.
