I am lucky enough to teach at a school that is rich in history, in a building that recently celebrated 100 years. The building is full of character but lacks storage! Especially for student supplies and backpacks. The students need their own space. Last year we struggled daily with a place to store backpacks and lunchboxes. Students would trip over the backpacks we had to hang on their seats and it made it difficult to have movement in the classroom. Movement, especially in the lower elementary grades is essential. This purchase of coat lockers would help us actively learn and create more space!
