My students need math center activities to stimulate learning and support independence. The Osmo gaming system is a tool for the iPad that will enable my students develop a stronger understanding of number sense skills through creative thinking and physical play. The Learning Palette is a tool to support various student abilities for independent practice. It is self-checking, which makes it a great tool to use during the guided math block. My students need independent, engaging, motivating, and individualized activities that successfully supplement learning in a balanced mathematics classroom. These tools will motivate my students and encourage a love of math.
