While iPads have changed learning in my classroom, I would like students to have even more access to interactive learning. The Osmo and it's unique way of mixing play with work will do just that! The Osmo is an amazing gaming system that fosters creative thinking and collaborative learning. When paired with an iPad, the Osmo transforms the area in front of the iPad into an interactive environment. The students will use physical objects in the area in front of the tablet to solve puzzles, spell words, and even draw. My students have shown that they need hands-on activities to make learning stick. They will be able to practice reading and math skills in a fun and interactive way with actual objects to manipulate rather than just the screen.
