I plan to use these manipulatives to help students become more engaged. When students can aid their learning with real world connections and hands on projects, they will retain their learning more solidly. It is my districts vision to help each student become a positive community citizen and helping students understand their surroundings more is key to their success. These materials will help students focus more and give me a better idea of who is understanding the skill and who is not. I will be able to see students who are struggling more clearly and in return be able to spend more time with those students to enhance their understanding of the skill being taught.

About my class
