Students will use the rocketry kit to work together and learn about the history of space exploration, balanced and unbalanced forces, gravity and Newton’s Laws, not to mention this engineering curriculum will meet the Next Generation Science Standards of learning! This project will teach both math and scientific concepts through experience. It is important for students to work together and learn problem solving techniques and develop a deeper understanding of science technologies through hands on experiences in a collaborative setting with peers. Working with rockets is a hands on way to work through the scientific processes of planning, designing, creating, testing, troubleshooting and reconstruction prepares students for multiple career paths and develops a strong well-rounded future community leader! Thank you in advance for allowing my students the opportunity to soar to new and exciting heights!
