My students love the writing center. They love to tell their stories. Crayons, colored pencils, markers, stamps, etc... are used daily in our class. Through different mediums kindergarten students tell stories about themselves. Our school is a high poverty school with many free and reduced lunches being served daily. The building in which we work is an older building. Inside the walls of this older building is a story within itself. Students face the day with smiles knowing they will have a fun-filled day of learning. The community that the school is located in is a small community; yet, very supportive.
